FAKE COURT

ABOUT

Fake Court is here to help you and someone you know settle a dispute.

Fake Court is what the name implies: a fake court. We’re the first to bring something like this to the public! Fake Court is designed so the smallest of arguments can be settled right here online by a non-partisan party better than any argument can be settled on any social media because the purpose of Fake Court’s platform is arguments and resolutions only.

Opinions go two ways, and the most persuasive debate rules here. It’s not about people. Influencers hold no sway here. Fake Court exists to bring arguments to resolution. The arguments can begin at the dinner table, at the grocery store, online, or anywhere. They will be settled here with both parties leaving with a better understanding of each other, because isn’t that what resolving conflict is all about?

Finally, although the name is silly, we realize people’s problems are real, and we ask that everyone involved bring with them a mindset of finding a mutual understanding and agreement to whatever it was that brought you here.

HISTORY

Fake Court began development in 2016, and reached beta stage in 2020. BIG STRONG FORKS LLC was founded in 2020 and is the creator of Fake Court.

The concept arose from an argument that took place on an indie writing forum. It was common to see arguments bloom from nothing, with the only resolution being a moderator coming into the ongoing debate with their moderator “cattle prod” and eventually locking the argument from further debate.

A few things were wrong with this premise, and if you want to read more about it…
